Can I get prescription sunglass lenses in my own frames?
Yes, you can get new prescription sunglass lenses custom made and installed in any of your own frames. You can also get prescription clear or prescription Transitions lenses. They all come in Single Vision or Progressive options.
How does the quality compare to buying through a brand or my eye doctor?
Our prescription lens quality will be equal to or superior to buying directly through a brand or your eye doctor, but half the price. We've taken a different approach where we offer all the bells and whistles to make top quality product included in our flat fee pricing so you can get equivalent quality to ours if you went with all the add-ons from the brand or eye doctor. Once that happens, we'll be about 1/2 the price for the best quality you can get anywhere.
How much does it cost to get prescription sunglass lenses?
Polarized prescription sunglass lenses from Tajima Direct will be $325 for Single Vision and $425 for Progressive. They are the absolute highest quality you can anywhere and the pricing includes their superior lens materials, all premium coatings, and top shelf digital Rx lens designs. It also includes all shipping to send in your frames and return back to you.
What is the process to get new prescription lenses in my current frames?
1. Choose your new lenses (clear, polarized, light adaptive - colors - Single Vision or Progressive - etc). 2. Send your frames in - we'll email you a prepaid shipping label to use with your own box or can ship you a prepaid box to use. 3. Within 1-2 weeks of receiving your frames, your glasses will be on their way back to you with the new prescription lenses installed.
Can you put progressive lenses in any frame?
Yes, we can custom make progressive lenses for nearly any frame. Includes clear, polarized sunglass, and light adaptive Transition lenses.
What is the return policy?
If you’re not 100% satisfied with your new lenses, we’ll give you a full refund with free return shipping. You have 30 days from when you receive your new lenses to claim your return.
